We had a great stay at a delightful little hotel in a simply amazing old city. The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, allowing us to easily explore everything. The staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we found our way in the labyrinthine streets of Lucca. The room was stylishly presented and very comfortable, providing us with a cozy and relaxing space after a day of exploring. The hotel's attention to detail, such as providing facial creams in the bathroom, added a special touch to our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lucca.

Tastefully decorated rooms complete with a kitchenette and access to the apartment, very friendly and attentive staff.

The people were very nice, the room was big and clean, it was in the middle of town close to everything, but out of the main tourist route. Out of the 6 hotels that I went to on this trip, this was the best one. The only bad thing that I can say about it is that they do not give you breakfast. Other than that, I plan on going back the next time I goto Lucca or the area.

It is very central, great value for money and nice environment. Staff very helpful, but there for limited times.

It is a bit of a hassel to park as you need to drop your bags and then walk about 500mts to park in a public parking area. Bed was a bit ordinary in our room but o in the other we rented

Furniture is poor quality - in contrast to the murals.

Location was excellent. Rooms spacious. Our room 'The Butterfly' was great as we had a seperate area to sit and relax in. Lady at reception was very helpful, informative and courteous. Thankfully she spoke English as our Italian is not very good at all :)

There was a coffee machine which was great - but a kettle would have been very useful too.

We really enjoyed its magnificent and fantastic location.

location: the hotel was right by significant monuments as well as the city's thirteenth century cathedral. it also was easy to walk to from the train station.

I couldn't be more delighted with my stay in this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and gave me detailed directions to find my way around the city easily. They even helped me with parking and transportation, which I found very convenient. The hotel itself was beautifully presented and everything was spotless, from the lobby to my spacious and comfortable room. In the mornings, I was treated to a tasty and filling breakfast that really fueled me up for a day of exploring. the location was perfect and allowed me to walk everywhere with ease.

Beautifully presented suite with delightful decore and attention to detail. Warm welcome and helpful hints of places to visit. Most pleasant family accommodation we have had when staying in a town or city. Wish we could stay longer.

Location: the hotel was close to beautiful Lucca, cafes, main shopping street and many historic sites and restaurants areas. The staff was nice, they assisted with luggage.

Antica Residenza Del Gallo was simply the best accommodations during our two weeks in Italy. The room was beautiful, clean, and in a wonderful location. The receptionist Stefania was wonderfully positive even though she had to wait for our delayed train to arrive. She recommended excellent local eateries and upgraded our room. I would recommend Antica Residenza Del Gallo to anyone who is looking for somewhere special to stay in Lucca!
